Michigan College Access Network (MCAN) and partners launched a college advising hotline today to answer questions Michigan high school students have about attending college. The hotline was initiated as a result of the current global health crisis, aiming to fill the gaps created from the governor’s statewide school closure order issued in March.

Over 2000 internships, summer opportunities, pre-college programs, and volunteer opportunities in an easy to access design. All students or counselors and advisors have to do is select the type of opportunity, what subjects you are looking for, and any of the other options such as paid, grade levels, or co-ed, and the website will generate a list of opportunities that meet your specifications.

The NHS Counseling Team continues to be available to all students and their families.  Counselors will be answering email daily throughout the week and we will be available for conferencing, as needed, on an individual basis.  During this unprecedented situation, we will do our best to address individual questions and accommodate different needs.
