Cooke School celebrated seven graduates this week, marking an incredible milestone filled with pride, joy, and inspiration. Families, staff, and friends gathered to honor the Class of 2025 and their remarkable journeys.

The Northville Girls Tennis team captured the State Championship on May 30-31 at Byron Center, earning their first state title since 2018. Entering the tournament as underdogs, the Mustangs showcased incredible grit, resilience, and teamwork to edge out Utica Eisenhower and claim the top spot.

Northville Public Schools has appointed Ms. Emily Pohlonski as the new Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services, bringing her extensive background in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and educator growth. A Northville native, Ms. Pohlonski is excited to return to her hometown and contribute to the district's continued academic excellence and innovation.

On August 5, 2025, Northville voters will consider a proposal to renew the district’s current 0.9357 mill Sinking Fund for ten years with no increase to the tax rate. The renewal would continue to fund repairs, safety upgrades, and instructional technology across all school buildings.

Northville Rowing had a historic 2025 season, with the men’s team winning the State Championship and a National Title in the Men’s Varsity 4+, while the women’s team earned State Runner-Up and claimed their third straight Varsity 4x title. With strong community support and a growing program based at Kensington Metropark, Northville continues to build a lasting legacy in the sport.
