Northville High School DECA Seeks Community Business Professionals as Volunteer Judges

Northville High School’s DECA chapter is calling on local business professionals to volunteer as judges for their upcoming competitions, offering a unique opportunity to mentor and inspire future business leaders. Volunteers can sign up for one or more shifts during events, including District competitions on January 10 at Eastern Michigan University and the State competition on March 13-14 at Huntington Place in Detroit. This is a chance to make a lasting impact by supporting students in their pursuit of real-world skills in business, marketing, finance, and management.

Northville DECA, Michigan’s largest chapter with 290 members, has a tradition of excellence, achieving success at state and international levels and dedicating time to philanthropic efforts, such as fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

DECA judges play a vital role by providing real-world feedback that prepares students for future careers. Here's a short video about judging for DECA and the impact it has on student growth.
