NHS Launches National Honor Society Civic Concern Food Drive

The National Honor Society at Northville High School is hosting its annual Civic Concern Food Drive to help support local families in need this holiday season. The drive is already underway and will run until November 25th. NHS students are encouraged to participate by bringing non-perishable food items to their seminar classes, where a friendly competition among seminars will reward the class with the most points with a Panera breakfast!

To join the cause, students should bring donations such as canned fruit, canned meat or single-serving meals, pasta, pasta sauce, oatmeal, and packaged or canned side dishes. Each donation should be labeled with the student’s full name and seminar teacher to ensure points are properly counted toward the seminar competition. Remember to check expiration dates—Civic Concern cannot accept expired or outdated items.

Honor Society students should check Ms. Couchman’s email for their specific requirements regarding this food drive, as participation is mandatory.

Let’s make a difference together, Mustangs! Show up, show out, and support families in need this season.
