The Northville Public Schools Orchestra Program invites the community to an enchanting evening of musical exploration at the upcoming String Instrument Preview event on Thursday, February 1, at 7:00 pm. Hosted in the Hillside Middle School cafetorium, this event promises an exciting blend of information, professional and student performances, and hands-on experiences for all attendees.
Whether you're a prospective orchestra member or simply curious about the award-winning program, the String Instrument Preview offers a unique opportunity to delve into the potential and possibilities that the orchestra program provides. Participants will have the chance to try out various orchestra instruments, helping them discover which one resonates with their musical aspirations.
An exciting addition to this year's program is the debut of the harp, showcasing the orchestra's commitment to growth and diversity. This instrument joins an impressive array of offerings, providing a glimpse into the comprehensive musical experience the Northville Public Schools Orchestra Program offers.
"All are welcome to attend, even if you have not signed up for orchestra," encourages Johanne Ray-Hepp, NPS Orchestra teacher. Younger students contemplating their future middle school choices are especially encouraged to attend. Middle and high school students, regardless of their musical background, are invited to explore the diverse range of instruments and find their perfect fit.
