She had peer links helping her students with comprehension questions tied to a novel they read. Show Transcript Hi! I'm Kelsey Mikiciuk and I am the cross categorical teacher here at Northville High School, this is my classroom. The students are currently in English skills so what that looks like is it focuses on the essential elements which is the important parts of the common core but this hour particularly, they all have peer to peer links and supports in there. So they are working on a novel written at all different reading ability levels and they are doing exactly what they would be doing in gen ed, so they are reading it with their peers, doing the comprehension questions. Come on in and take a look. We are just working on we are just working on like school work for Then we also get some nice breaks in-between. We're working on our novel today so we doing some reading and comprehension questions and then hopefully we have some free time at the end of the hour Yeah! I like to... what do we like to do together? We like to play Uno at the end of the hour sometimes we watch those train videos, parade videos. Yeah, parade videos! I like working with Tommy too.
