This measure holds immense significance for our district, and we deeply appreciate the unwavering backing of our community in bringing it to fruition. In our inaugural video progress update, we paid a visit to Eight Mile Stadium, the focal point of current activity, where construction crews are diligently dismantling the home and visitor bleachers. This undertaking holds particular significance within the bond, as the replacement bleachers will be fully ADA compliant, equipped with handrails, and accommodating 4,500 seats.

Hello, Dr. RJ Webber, the very proud Superintendent of your Northville Public Schools. If you haven't been down Eight Mile lately or seen the stadium, the stands are gone. So for many of you Northvillians who have been here for a long time that's got to seem a little odd but you're going to find your experience as you come to the stadium next year fantastic. And really this is the first step in our multi-year bond process. We'll be updating you regularly on our bond progress. The reason that we are starting here is because with bond work with schools we can only start that work when the kids aren't here if it's in a school. So we're starting with all those projects that we can get to that aren't going to impede the educational process. Thank you so much for your support of the bond. It means the world to us and your kids will benefit from it, cannot wait to see all the work going on this summer and how much our district will improve. Thank you and be well. Thank you to our community for their support in passing the 2023 Bond, which is enabling crucial improvements throughout our district. The bond will enhance our schools and expand our capacity to provide top-tier education.

Progress updates include the demolition of bleachers at Eight Mile Stadium, ongoing design work for Amerman's addition and renovation, and the commencement of design work for district-wide LED lighting upgrades.

Additionally, contracts for the NHS baseball and softball turf project have been sent out, and planning for Meads Mill's addition and renovation is underway. Installation of playgrounds at Moraine, Silver Springs, and Winchester is scheduled for summer 2024, along with roofing projects at various locations. Technology initiatives include the completion of the Wireless Access Point project and upgrades to the district's fiber optic network.

Here's a breakdown of the current projects going on:

Status Update: March 2024

Eight Mile Stadium
- Demolition of the existing home and visitor bleachers has begun. Sitework and electrical work will continue on site in preparation of foundations for the new bleachers later this spring.
Amerman Addition and Renovation
- Design team is working on an updated set of drawings that the construction company (Auch) will provide an estimate for. Over the next several months will be discussions over the design and bidding out the project.

NHS HVAC
- Design development drawings issued, project bidding will take place late 2nd quarter of 2024.
- NHS Kitchen Make Up Air Unit installation scheduled for Summer 2024.
District-wide LED Lighting Upgrade
- Design work complete at Amerman, Moraine, Ridge Wood, Silver Springs, Thornton Creek, Winchester, and NHS.
- Construction will begin late 2024, anticipated completion will be the end of 2025.
- Lighting upgrade at Meads Mill will be designed and performed with the Meads Mill renovation project.
NHS Baseball and Softball Fields
- Contracts for the NHS baseball and softball turf project have been sent out.
- Final storm water permit anticipated in 2nd quarter of 2024.
- Construction to start late June 2024, with substantial completion end of 2024.
Meads Mill Addition and Renovation
- Design meetings are ongoing.
- Construction is slated to start 2nd quarter of 2025, major construction phases in Summer 2025 and Summer 2026.

- Wireless Access Point project wrapping up.
- District-wide fiber optic network upgrade out for bid.
- Orders have been placed for district printer replacements and chromebook devices.
