Northville High School offers a comprehensive college-prep curriculum for students in grades 9-12. Students have more than 200 educational options, including 21 Advanced Placement courses, 19 IB Diploma Program courses for 11th and 12th graders, and six Project Lead the Way offerings. Career vocational training is available through the Livonia Career Technical Center.

We, the staff of Northville High School, in partnership with students, parents and community, are committed to the mutual responsibilities for learning and inquiry through effective holistic teaching. Northville Public Schools Profile

Northville Public Schools (NPS) is consistently ranked among the top-performing districts in Michigan, recognized for academic excellence and innovative programs. Serving about 7,000 students, the district includes six elementary schools, two middle schools, one comprehensive high school, and an early childhood education and extended day program. NPS also operates Cooke School, a specialized center for students with disabilities.

Northville is committed to rigorous, world-class education. All six elementary schools are designated Leader in Me Lighthouse Schools, reflecting exceptional student growth and leadership. The Northville Public Schools community serves the City of Northville, Northville Charter Township, and a portion of Novi,offering families a thriving suburban setting in southeastern Michigan. Conveniently located 27 miles northwest of Detroit and 17 miles northeast of Ann Arbor, the area provides exceptional access to the region’s educational, cultural, commercial, and medical centers, along with major employers in nearby metropolitan hubs.

Curriculum

Northville High School operates on a A/B Block Schedule with four classes meeting every other day for 90 minutes each block. Students have a total of seven classes/blocks and a Seminar block (four classes meet every other day on A-days and four different classes meet every other day on B-days). The Seminar class is during the 1st block of every A-Day in which students have the opportunity to get extra help, enrich, or get interventions in their course work with teachers and/or by collaborating with classmates.
