5/13/22 -- We are pleased to report that 8 individuals submitted applications indicating interest in being considered for appointment to the Board of Education seat vacated by Board Trustee Suzanne Lynn, with four candidates respectfully withdrawing from consideration on 5/13/22 and 5/16/22. The remaining four applicants, in alphabetical order, are:

Interview Process and Dates
At its Tuesday, May 10, 2022 meeting, the Board of Education confirmed the interview process and dates and times for the interviews, which are open to the public.
The interviews will take place during a Special Call Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. Candidate interviews are expected to begin at approximately 6:45 p.m. With a total of six applicants remaining under consideration, the interviews will take place in a single group as follows:
6:45 – 8:15 p.m.: Candidates Campbell-Voytal, Nakai, Nehete, and Raffle
The Board of Education meeting and candidate interviews will take place in the Globe (2nd Floor) at Old Village School, 405 West Main Street, Northville, MI 48167.
At the completion of the interviews on May 17, 2022, the Board will reconvene after a short break to deliberate. At this time, the top 2-3 candidates will be selected to move forward for a second interview at a Special Call Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., at Cooke School, 21200 Taft Road, Northville, MI 48167.
Following the second round of interviews on May 24, 2022, the Board of Education anticipates making a final selection of the candidate to be appointed to the Board of Education. The candidate selected to fill the Board of Education seat will serve beginning on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, through December 31, 2022, and may choose to run for election to the open four-year term, beginning January 2023, in the next regular school election on November 8, 2022.
