Local Scholarships
Welcome to the 2026 Local Scholarship page!
This year's process is moving to Schoology. You will be able to apply to the scholarships in Schology starting early February 2026. Please read and follow all directions on each application, paying close attention to the criteria.You will notice that some require two teacher recommendation forms, some do not require any at all. It is your responsibility to give your teachers these forms and ask them to turn them into Mrs. Tucker in the counseling upon completing them. Please note: Any applications that do NOT provide all required materials will not be submitted. These forms will be submitted to the organizations on March 6th, 2026. No late submissions will be accepted.
The winners of each scholarship will be announced at the Senior Honors Convocation on Monday, May 18th, 2026. Invitations to that event will be emailed in late April to any student receiving a scholarship.
Important information regarding teacher recommendation form process
IF and ONLY IF the criteria requires teacher recommedation forms, you will either need share this form or print it and give it to your teacher(s).
Make sure the NAME of the scholarship you’re applying to is on the form! Ask the teacher to send or give it to Mrs. Tucker. If the name of the scholarship is not on the form, it will not be submitted to the organization with your application.
