General updates & contact information:

Appointments: 

  • For student appointments:  
    • Students will be able to schedule their own appointments with their counselor via the Counseling Webpage!  Counselors have reserved appointment slots available during seminar and daily during lunch. These appointment slots are for students only.  
    • Students are also able to utilize the “Lunch Drop Ins” option! A counselor will be available daily during lunch in the hallway near the cafeteria.  Please note that the counselors who attend the Lunch Drop Ins will change daily. 
  • For parent appointments: 

Events: 

  • September 14, 5 pm: Senior Planning Meeting. Senior counselors will host a senior college planning meeting the hour prior to open house, 5-6pm in the NHS auditorium. Senior students and parents are encouraged to attend this meeting to learn all about the college application process and additional post secondary planning. See you then!  
  • September 15, 5 pm: Military Service Academy Information Night-  RSVP here

Attention Senior Families:   

  • Welcome back! Senior counselors are excited to support our seniors on their road to college or whatever their post secondary plans might be.
  • Counselors are eager to meet with their seniors! We will be adding in senior student appointments the second week of school. Senior students are encouraged to sign up for a senior meeting with their counselor to review their post secondary plans.  Also there is a senior college planning meeting for senior students and parents from 5pm-6pm on September 14th prior to the NHS open house.
  • We will begin our senior college QandA sessions during seminar soon! Keep your eyes on your email for the start date of those. 
  • Mrs. Tucker is able to help with Parchment questions!
  • Mark your calendars for our College Visits coming this fall.
  • Are you interested in the Financial Services Industry? Fill out the linked Interest Form to be considered for the Morgan Stanley Finance Academy! Students must be graduating seniors in the class of 2027 and have a 3.4+ GPA.
